Indonesia Asri’s Actions

Indonesia Asri has several actions that encourage Warga Asri to contribute to the environment. These actions are packaged under the #AksiAsri. Let’s take a closer look at each action

1. #AksiAsri – Operasi Semut

Operasi Semut is an Indonesia Asri program implemented to educate the public about the importance of sorting waste before disposal through the hashtag #pilahsampah.

This action spans eight volumes until May 2025 and is held at various events, including car-free days, sporting events such as the 2023 Jakarta Marathon, the Jakarta Running Festival, and the Jakarta Martial Arts Extravaganza. Operasi Semut has also been held in the historic Kota Tua area of Jakarta.

Operasi Semut not only includes waste collection and sorting activities but also features exciting games that test environmental knowledge and a product showcase from the Chandra Asri Group, which processes inorganic waste into plastic asphalt and Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF).

2. #AksiAsri Beralih

Beralih (Buka Bersama sambil Pilah-Pilih), is an Ifthar Gathering held to foster the spirit of waste sorting during Ramadan, a month when waste production typically increases due to high consumption levels in Indonesia.

This initiative also aims to strengthen bonds within the Warga Asri community. The program features interactive discussions on the circular economy and the importance of waste sorting.

3. Content Creator Bootcamp

As time passes, digitalization is being increasingly implemented in various aspects of life. That’s why the Chandra Asri Group strives to stay up-to-date and utilize this digitalization to educate content creators about sharing environmental conservation content on social media. Hopefully, more people will be inspired to share similar content and adopt a sustainable lifestyle.

4. Merangkai Harapan untuk Indonesia Asri

Merangkai Harapan untuk Indonesia Asri was held to share knowledge and dreams with the nation’s future children so they can grow up in a beautiful environment. Indonesia Asri also partnered with the Kompas Gramedia Growth Center in this program.

5. #CircleofBeauty

#CircleofBeauty is an initiative aimed at raising awareness of sustainable beauty practices. By June 2025, #CircleofBeauty had been held four times.

The primary focus of this initiative is the importance of effectively managing cosmetic, skincare, and personal care product waste and applying circular economy principles to produce recycled products with economic value.

6. #SiPalingSustainable

#SiPalingSustainable is an initiative designed to encourage the public to adopt a sustainable lifestyle and contribute to environmental conservation through simple actions combined with fun challenges, such as Si Paling Kendaraan Umum, Si Paling Olahraga, Si Paling Pilah Sampah, and so on.
